Our story

American Transportation & Limo Service was founded in 2010 by Lenin Fraga, an Ecuadorian entrepreneur who immigrated to the United States in 1993 in search of a better future. After years of hard work as a flower vendor and chauffeur — and after losing his first business during the 2008 financial crisis — Lenin decided to start over.

With determination and some savings, he purchased a used Cadillac Escalade and began offering executive transportation on his own. Working up to 22 hours a day, his dedication quickly paid off. Within a year, he added a second vehicle, and American Transportation & Limo Service was officially born.

Today, the company operates a fleet of 40 luxury vehicles, employs over 30 people, and serves more than 12,000 clients across Miami and in over 450 cities worldwide. True to his entrepreneurial spirit, Lenin has also expanded into yacht rentals — always learning, growing, and driven by a commitment to excellence, hard work, and family.

Lenin Fraga was born in Ecuador and moved to the United States in 1993 at the age of 20, driven by the dream of building a better life. He started from humble beginnings, selling flowers to restaurants and later working as a chauffeur. Although he originally came to study aviation mechanics in Miami-Dade College and FIU, his entrepreneurial spirit took over.

In 2000, he took a leap of faith and invested in a printing business, inspired by his family’s background in the industry. The business saw early success, but the 2008 financial crisis hit hard, forcing him to close it down. He lost his home, his car, and his stability — but never his drive.

With resilience and a small amount of savings, Lenin purchased his first SUV and began offering premium transportation services on his own — laying the foundation for what would later become American Transportation & Limo Service. From the start, he focused on delivering high-quality, exclusive service to every client.

Leading by example, he personally trained his chauffeurs to uphold the same level of professionalism, attention to detail, and customer care that helped him earn the trust of his earliest clients.
